2.2.6.1 The “Speaker Volume (0-9)” Setting

To adjust the Paging Amplifier volume with the Speaker Volume (0-9) setting on the Device

Configuration page, complete the following steps:

1. Make sure that dip switch 2 is set to ON.

2. Go to the Paging Amplifier Home page.

3. Select the Device Configuration page.

4. In the Speaker Volume (0-9) box, type a number between 0 (lowest) and 9 (highest).

5. Select Save.

6. Select Reboot.

2.2.6.2 The “Line-In Volume (0-9)” Setting

To adjust the Paging Amplifier volume with the Line-In Playback Volume (0-9) setting on the

Device Configuration page, complete the following steps:

1. Make sure that dip switch 2 is set to ON.

2. Go to the Paging Amplifier Home page.

3. Select the Device Configuration page.

4. In the Line-In Playback Volume (0-9) box, type a number between 0 (lowest) and 9 (highest).

5. Select Save.

6. Select Reboot.

2.2.6.3 External Volume Dial

To adjust the Paging Amplifier volume with the external volume dial, complete the following steps:

1. Make sure that dip switch 2 is set to OFF.

2. Turn the external Volume dial (Figure 2-15) on the Paging Amplifier face.

Note For the lineout volume, the volume is fixed and the volume control is adjusted through an

external amplifier.
